Wii!

I'm bowling on Grandpa Slote's Wii. Also I am very good at it. I do a lasso when I bowl on the Wii.

I-gami helicopter.

Anne-Marie gave me a toy called I-gami and I share with Nova. Also Anne-Marie gave it to me because it was my Christmas present. I-gami is kind of like Lego and it is like origami too. Also stuff that you can make with I-gami you cannot make Lego.

Advanced Skating

I'm getting ready.

I'm pumping one of my legs.

I do crossovers really good.

Left crossovers are hard, a little.

I go really fast.

[Calliope is now in Advanced skating which means helmets are optional. There are lots of bigger kids, as can be seen in the video, and they start practicing actual figure skating not just how to skate.]

I Had The Flu

I puked a LOT and A LOT! I puked all over my real bed. I slept on the living room floor with my puke pot and I felt ill.

In the morning I felt much better. I didn't puke any more. Papa and Nova brought home movies, Skittles, ice cream and Pop Tarts to make me feel better.

Bike Riding

I am really good. I went all the way up and down the street without Papa touching me.

Astronomy Camp

I loved Astronomy Camp.



I made a Star Finder.

I made a Cootie Catcher.

I made the Planets out of clay.

I made 2 rockets.

I made pictures of Pegasus and Pegasus' baby.

I had tubes and I put constellations on the bottom.

I made 1 more rocket.
I learned aliens might be real.

Russian Sailor Dance

At first it was hard and then Mama thought it was pretty.

There Are Major Earthquakes In Here!

We made a seismograph for scientific research. It is made of a box, a cup, some jewels, a pencil, a marker, and some string.


I did pretty good on my first one.


Nova really whacked it!

We are testing and measuring the earthquakes.

I am finding the MAJOR earthquake.

Last Day of Grade One

This is all about Field Day. Field Day is the last day of school where we have lots of fun activities. I am now done grade one. Next year I'm gong to be in grade two!

We are doing tug-of-war. The girls won the first time, then the kindergardeners beat the first-graders.

We are playing with water balloons.

We were squirting a ball with water to get it in the bucket. I was really good at it.

We are trying to fill up a bucket with water.

We are doing a noodle race. My team was the slowest and we were taking our time.
