My trip to the Orthodontists

This is an x-ray of my teeth. You can see the adult teeth waiting to come in and my earrings on the side.
I was a little nervous at first, but it was okay.

(We have decided to do nothing about her teeth, for now. She will go back every 6 months for new x-rays to see how things are going. She will most likely end up with braces when she turns 12 and has all of her adult teeth - start saving now:)

Hippy Projects

I painted this bag with special paint with Papa's help (kit is from Anne-Marie).

All ready to go!

It took me 2 days to glue the flowers together and then on the wreath. This is going on my bedroom door. Mama bought me this kit at Michael's.

A Guest Post by a Proud Mom

Calliope with her Christmas gift from Anne-Marie that arrived today. Thank you Annie!
Today Calliope finally returned to school after being sick for the past week. She came home with her report card. She was graded as Advanced or Proficient is all subjects. This is what her teacher said about her:

"Calliope is progressing well in all academic areas, and has moved up into a higher level math group (advance 3rd grade). She is settling into classroom life, making friends and becoming more active in classroom discussions. She is a serious, thoughtful student who didn't miss a beat in transitioning into new classroom routines. Her presence in the  classroom is one of an experienced student who behaves as if she were one of the class from the beginning. She has been a joy to have as a student."

We are very proud. Keep up the good work Calliope.

Hopefully she'll get to work on her shopping bag this weekend as she has lots of homework to catch up on this week.
